Music Room
The music room is a happening place! We have band at the Grade 6/7 level this year, with Mrs. Carolyn Mitchell from Chatelech at the helm. I (Mrs. Sara Douglas) am teaching “core” music to the kindergarten through Grade 5 students. We are singing, playing the xylophones, learning new rhythms and doing lots of movement.
There are two dates we want you to mark on your Calendar:
Halloween Music Sharing- Friday October 30th at 10:30 in the Sechelt gym
Christmas Carol Concert- Wednesday December 16th at 7:00 p.m. in the gym
Please note the Christmas concert is in the evening this year, and we are expecting all students to attend and perform with their class. There will be some Christmas plays involved, and so it is important that no one miss this exciting new event!
