Yesterday at approximately 8:30am a West Sechelt Elementary student was approached by two males in a 4 door red sedan and was asked to get into the car. The student refused and the males drove away. The men are described as caucasian, 20-30 years old, bald with brown beards.
The RCMP were still interviewing the student and investigating so we did not have any information to share with Sunshine Coast families until Tuesday evening. Students at all schools have been or will be reminded of safety precautions while out in public. We invite parents to remind their children of their family safety rules as well.

If you have any information that will assist the investigation please contact the RCMP at 604 885 2266.
