Welcome to Kinnikinnick Elementary School's website. Feel free to explore !

Our Christmas Concert is at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10th (Doors open at 6:00 p.m.). Please join us for "Christmas Spirit Lives Here" starring Olivia Alstad, Donny Dixon and Irene Craigan.

Welcome to our Christmas Concert entitled:
Christmas Lives Here.

This is the story of how the British Columbia Minister of Education can’t find Christmas spirit anywhere in the province. As a result, he too has lost his Christmas spirit. Desperate, he calls the principal of the one school in the province known for its spirit – Kinnikinnick. The Minister travels from Victoria to Sechelt to see if he can find Christmas spirit.

The principal Ms. S, takes the Minister on a tour of the school to see students preparing for Christmas. As they visit each classroom, the Minister finds his Christmas spirit and discovers that it does live in this special school – Kinnikinnick!

Sit back and go on tour  with Mr. Minister– you are sure to rediscover your own sense of Christmas spirit.

Ways to Support Learning at Home
• Reading TO your child is the very best way to support students at home. Even if your child is reading, when you share a good book together, you show your child that reading is valued and fun!
• Check your child's planner every evening and support them to complete the tasks listed. (No tasks? Read to them.)
• Help out at school. Come and help Leanne with a hot lunch. You will get to school in action.
• Send us your feedback. Even if you can't attend PAC Meetings, we still want to hear from you.
