Inclement Weather
School Closure - Tuesday, January 19, 2010 due to Power Outage.
The school now has an electronic telephone tree - if there is to be a school closure, the telephone tree will be enacted generally by 7 am.
Unfortunately many family's telephone's were out of service. Listen to 91.7 CKAY FM for up to date announcements if you have not heard from the telephone tree or your phone service is down.
During the time of the season when inclement weather may affect the safety and welfare of students and, in particular, when snowy weather has the potential to cause classes to be postponed or some School District No. 46 services to be suspended or postponed by 2 hours to allow for roads to be cleared, prior to buses running. Should this occur, we will enact our telephone notification and our school hours will run from 10:15 am until the usual dismissal time.
Current information will be updated continuously on the Sunshine Coast School District No. 46 website.
